What do you plan to study in college? And why? Undecided.

What has the game of softball taught you about yourself? It has taught me that if I put my mind to it I can succeed at the most difficult tasks. I've matured both as a person and as a player. I now understand that it's not always about how I do individually, but how the team as a whole does.

Baylor University

Student-Athlete:  Shelbi Redfearn

Sport/Position:  Softball/ Left Field

Why did you select Baylor University? I chose Baylor for many reasons. It was apparent to me from the get go that the coaches had a strong love for God. That is really important to me. My faith means a lot. With Baylor being a Baptist school I knew I would get the spiritual support I need. The coaches and the players are the people I want to spend the next four years of my life with. I have always wanted to play Division I ball! My dream has come true and I am excited that I am getting the chance to play in one of the best conferences with one of the best teams and look forward to playing for Coach Moore and Coach Lumley.

What do you plan to study in college? And why? I plan to study Health Sciences and become an Occupational Therapist. I love to help people, and I feel like that profession would suit me best.

What has the game of softball taught you about yourself? Softball has taught me that I can lead by example and still make an impact on my teammates.
